A very thick trunked, tall pinnate palm known as the Chilean Wine Palm.  Known to be very slow growing, it can tolerate inland sun and a good deal of cold, probably to about 15 degrees.  You plant this one for your kids because it’s so slow growing.  Very valuable when mature sized
